The attack on the village of Qusra

The events that triggered this reaction took place on Saturday 29 August 2026 in the northern West Bank, an area under Israeli military administration since 1967. Dozens of Israeli settlers carried out an incursion into the Palestinian town of Qusra, located near Nablus. According to reports from security forces, the group first blocked access to the village before engaging in violent clashes, including throwing stones at local residents. The situation escalated further when the attackers entered a Palestinian house. Security forces had to intervene to end the occupation of a home where Palestinian residents were still present during the rioters’ intrusion. Border police and IDF units, dispatched to the scene to secure the area, proceeded to evacuate the injured by ambulance, although the exact casualty toll has not yet been confirmed.
